[looks better as a member- the scroll bars are meant for the skin BC1 not the default skin]

4/10

Pretty interesting and unique site. Now for my rating, sorry if I'm a little harsh, but it's just from my point of view as a guest.

The layout is very difficult for me to read. I had to change my internet settings to ignore all colors for me to get through it. That neon green text is killing me, and to be honest, that would be the first change to make. I'd try for soft, but bright colors that can easily be seen on the dark green background.

I understand that the scroll wasn't made for the default skin, but that isn't very guest-friendly, is it? To someone browsing over the site, it doesn't look very professional.

I must applaud you for putting your plot on the front at the top of the board, but you really should space it out into paragraphs. It's easy for me to get lost in it and miss lines, but I also happen to be a bit dyslexic, and that might be why. Still, it looks a little neater when you space things up a little.

Spell check and proof read everything on the site. It makes things look more put-together and professional. It also shows people that you are a dedicated admin, and won't just slip out of the race on them.

Try to make things a little more neat. The table you have in the headers looks very jumbled, and takes up way more space than it should. Strip it down to its bones, and then some more. Put only absolutely vital information up, and the rest can be moved to a board.

Lol thanks...and now for the rate.

5/10

I like the logo, though the url under the name is a bit distracting, since it's so much brighter than the rest of the logo.

The dark red text is kinda hard to read on the background. I'd suggest using something lighter, but not bright-like a light gray.

The info table at the top is very nice and imformative; but I noticed it's kinda hard to read the words on the gradients.

The cell highlight colors really need to change. For me, the ability to still read the board/thread when it's highlighted is a big plus for joining a site...or a big minus. The board highlight is shocking the way it switches from black to white, and the thread highlight is the same gray as the links. Maybe you should try a darker color, more close to black...

With links, I like them to all be the same color-or close shades of the same color. It looks sloppy with them switching to gray to red, and it's hard to tell what's a link and what's not when the links are the same color as the text.

I'd suggest at least getting custom old/new post indicators. The default ones are, well, boring, and they don't match your layout very well.

The boards are nicely organized, and easy to navigate. :) The coding is also nicely done, and your forum doesn't look like the typical Proboards site-which is good.

The c-box would look much better if it was customized to match your site. Go to your C-box admin panel, and click skins. There you can fill out the skin of your c-box to match your site. ^^

The plot is a bit typical, being Light v. Dark, but it has an origanal twist-I like that.

Good luck and keep working; this site has lots of potential.

Well, I’m not a very good rater, but you rated my sites, so it’s only fair that I rate your’s.

The font, for me, needs to be a lighter color. I like the way red looks on black for some reason, but it’s just hard to read your font.

I really like the logo a lot. The white font is very distracting, but I really like the logo.

The c-box doesn’t really fit the board very well. You need some darker color so it blends in better and makes the site look… better.

I like the plot. It’s very interesting and if someone reads through the whole things, there’s a likely chance they’ll join.

You’re site is pretty good to me. The appearance is overall pretty good and the coding is great.
