UPDATE
it's been nine days since UNNATURAL SELECTION opened its doors and we've seen a flurry of awesome characters show up who can post well and maintain activity. while some sites have difficulty setting up friendships between rpers, UNNATURAL SELECTION is not one of them. our c-box logs are proof of that; there's a conversation every night. what's more is that the plot is already shaping up beautifully, with character additions to the rp really opening up new opportunities and giving this weary old admin some fantastic ideas. there has been some voiced excitement about the plot and i'm just as stoked about it. the plot is still in its beginner stages, and there are still plenty openings available in groups and skillsets, so now is a perfect time to join, get to know the crew, and start a journey.
So the years have passed in Forks. Bella is living comfortably with Renesmee, Edward and the rest of the Cullens, and her immortal life is going great. Unfortunately, that cannot be said for the other vampires, especially the Volturi. Ever since the Cullen's apparent revolt against them, more and more rogue vampires have decided to try and defy the laws of the vampire world...including three of the Volturi's own members; Jane, Felix and Demitri have split from the Volturi, leaving them a little weaker than before. Aro, Marcus and Caius are threatening to destroy any nomad vampires who do not belong to an official coven, seeing it as a way to get rid of their problem.
With all the conflict in the vampire world, Forks is becoming unsafe for everyone: human, shifter and vampire alike. No longer is it the safe haven vampires thought it was, instead, it's becoming more like a hell on earth. Meanwhile, the Romanian vampires are building up their coven again, intent on bringing the Volturi down. Now the Cullens and the Volturi and even the shifters must team up to protect Forks and its inhabitants, and get Jane, Felix and Demitri safely back into the Volturi.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Metal is the new black! Yes that's right, metal is coming back. This roleplay takes place in California, generally around Los Angeles. It is based on a competition of many metal/hard rock bands coming back in style and rising in fame to be the new Black Sabbath and Metallica. They are all competing to be named "Top New Artist." The bands styles range from things similar to that of Evanescence and Lacuna Coil to something similar to Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed with everything inbetween.
The website is short application, and each post must be atleast 150 words. There are also plenty of bands to choose from, each with a genre ranging from Metal to Soft Rock and Rap Metal to Pop.

Welcome to NYC, the city so nice they named it twice. But that's just how the saying goes anyways. Instead we welcome you to the place that's different from what you always heard. We've got the real deal. Sex, drugs and rock and roll are the guidelines in this place. But there's also the growing trend of tagging taking place. No matter where you go there's always a graffiti tag defacing someone or something. Four main groups stand above the rest. Scene Junkie, Insolent Montage, Dropkick Dread, and Surging Haze are trying to make themselves #1. So where do you fit in to all of this? Are you the one making the tags no one will ever forget or are you being left behind with all the empty spray cans?

MADNESS, AS YOU KNOW, IS LIKE GRAVITY.
Gotham is unstable -- Harvey Dent and Rachel Dawes are dead; the Batman is on the run still, nine months later. The citizens are breaking, and things are worse now then ever. Even with the Joker locked back up in Arkham, his madness is spreading outside of its gates. New criminals are rising through the ashes of the broken city, ready to terrorize and destroy. Who can be trusted in this indecent time? Will the people of Gotham call for their Dark Knight once again -- or, will they rely on the elected officials and police force to clean up the streets? With rumors of the Joker making plans to escape, it only ensures more chaos will erupt in the hearts and minds of those left 'sane'. The mobs are making their comeback, and 'regular' crimes are starting to escalate, but things are getting bolder; more dangerous, and frequent. No one is safe. So, which side are you on?

UPDATE
The new volume is underway, and going strong. It has been split into three acts to make it easier and more assessable for new members and old alike. By splitting it into three, it also allowed every character to take a fair turn in being part of the plot. The first act is coming to an end, and will hopefully be finished in the next week or so, which will allow us to move onto the second act.
We still have a good current memberbase and we have new members joining all the time. The application process is getting better, and quicker, allowing people to who have joined to pretty much be part of the action within a week of posting an application.
Also we have started our awards ceremony, it has been a year since the last one, and many things have happened. Will anyone who wona n award last year win the same award two years running, theres only one way to find out, and thats to join us on Eclipse.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Welcome to Halloween Town where the motto is 'Trick or Treat' and every day is Halloween. Halloween Town is not your average town however. Ever since its founding in 1832 people have found there way to this special little town in the middle of nowhere. What makes this town so special you may ask. Well it takes a lot to explain but I assure you the time is worth it. So pull up a chair and get some popcorn. This is a story for the ages.
The reason the town was created here was because of its special population of people. This includes real werewolves, vampires, demons, angels, and the like. All grouped in this area, some are friendly some are less then such. However all were living here when the founder Hal Von Saint founded this town. At first his wife and his children were against living here but they found out the special little secret that is what makes this place really special.
When the children, the daughter who was dressed as a witch, the son who was dressed as a werewolf went around trying to scare the children next town over. While they did so they were still normal children but on their way home John started to grow fangs, a tail, and long unmanageable hair, while Abigail started to turn ever so green and had the craving to turn people into frogs.
Mary, their mother was at first stricken with sadness and grief at her children turning into monsters, and blamed her husband for the land being cursed. Their maid found a young girl by their well and brought her in, hoping to get some answers, as she seemed to be a local of this town and not one of the neighboring ones. At first Mary was against keeping such a strange girl in their house but she hoped she would know how to change her children back.
However the next morning both children were back in their costumes and the young girl was now sporting horns, a spiked tail, and blood red eyes. At first the family wanted to turn tail and leave but the young girl sat them down and explained that the creatures here as long as they stay in the surrounding area would turn human and it seemed that anyone human would turn into the creature they happened to be dressing as.
More then 200 years later the town of Halloween has been built up into a modern city. Its exact location is not known. It seems that people on every other day can leave Halloween Town but can only return during Halloween. Just further proving the surprise and wonder this Town has to offer. Just remember be careful what you wear for Halloween because it might just get you in trouble. Otherwise have fun. In this town where Halloween is the norm how can you not have fun?
